Cushing’s Disease:

A serious health condition, Cushing’s disease occurs due to excessive production of cortisol hormone levels. Also known as hypercortisolism, it can lead to various symptoms such as fatty hump between shoulders, purple or pink stretch marks on the skin, weight gain, thinning of skin and acne.

Hyperthyroidism:

Hyperthyroidism leads to faster metabolism and results in symptoms like sudden weight loss, sweating, irregular heartbeat and irritability.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS):

Affecting women, this hormonal disorder causes overproduction of androgen (male hormones). The symptoms of PCOS are similar ones which include irregular menstrual cycles, excessive facial hair, and male-pattern baldness, subfertility among others.
