Like most seniors in the USA we are finding the cost dental services are out of control. My neighbor suggested Los Algodones, Mexico nearby Yuma, AZ. Its a small border town with easy access to about 5,000 dentists, I chose Sani Dental Group which I found to be a well organized Dental practice with dozens of dentists and staff. I used the Sani free Shuttle service from our hotel in Yuma to their offices in Algodones, crossing the border was a breeze, no chaos, I didn't have to wait long for my Pan X-ray and to visit the first dentist to remove my worn-out bridge, the next dentist cleaned my teeth, bone grafts, one filing and fitted me for a temporary bridge. OK, let's compare prices in detail: My local Smiles Dentist for the same services $12,143.00 - Sani Dental Services: $1180.00 + 3 hour drive from Palm Springs area $55.00 around trip + 2 nights in Yuma $222.00 Shuttle service free + food (Cracker Barrel) $60.00 Total expenses for dentistry: $1517.00. I'm close by compared to the other seniors that I talked to while waiting in reception area such as; AZ, CA, WY, OR, NV, AR, UT and Canada. Is it worth the trip to Algodones, Mexico? YES.

I had two crown moldings done to me along with 6 cavity fillings and i personally do not like going to the dentist but they made my experience very smooth and painless! My teeth feel great ! The staff treat you great from the beginning to the end ! 10/10 service.
I never give reviews but I will for sani dental. I used them previously for a crown several years ago and it's been a good tooth with no problems. After covid I neglected my teeth and then a young woman acquired the dental practice we used. My husband used her and it was one nightmare after another. So I chose to go back to sani dental across the border from yuma. I'm from prescott Arizona. I ended up having a lot more work than I thought. Five crowns and a bridge. And two root canals with crowns, one tooth requiring gum reconstruction and surgery, then healing and coming back three months later for permanent crown. I have one partial kidney so I decided to have my upper and lower left molars removed instead of the surgery considering the health of my body over the health of the tooth. With so much going on I neglected to say what kind of crown I wanted, although it was listed on the procedural sheet they gave me and I signed. The prep work had already been done and I had a visit the next day for composition work I believe. A half hour visit. I happened then to ask what kind of crown I was getting. It was porcelain over metal. I really didn't want the metal in my body and was disappointed but was willing to live with it. I went to tell them of my disappointment. They immediately called the lab, I was having crowns put on the next day. I paid the difference and they changed to titanium crowns for me. Got me in soon thereafter to pull the two teeth, my appt was pushed back an hour the next day, and I was done and out by four o'clock to go home. I stay in their complex next to the dental office. All room are on second floor balcony, with no way to get there other than through the hotel entry where there is someone 24 hours a day. The compound is closed off at night with a security fence and a security guard. There is a restaurant, coffee shop, optometrist, massage, iv therapy, mini mart inside the compound and more. I'm a 75 year old woman. My husband still works and we have a dog that can't be left so I went by myself. I've always felt safe while there and everyone is so so pleasant and always happy to accommodate. The trip was stressful for me and I lashed out at the hotel attendant one time. I apologized later but he took it all in stride. We can afford dental work in the United States but I choose sani dentist not just for the price but for who they are. I will not wait so long to go back. There is also a lovely young lady that is always going up and down the hallway mopping back and forth and spraying something in the air. I recommend them highly.

I had an absolutely perfect experience here at Sani Dental. Flew down from Indiana and got 6 veneers.All of the staff were super friendly and spoke amazing English. Doctor Angie, who took care of my procedure, was so professional and incredibly talented.Like 10 out of 10 results... couldn't be happier.The hotel they set me up with was nice enough and they did good on their promise to refund 3 of the nights of my stay. Also the transportation they provided was incredible - picking me up from the airport, taking me to the clinic every day, dropping me off at the hotel, and back again to the airport.Overall I saved at least 50% of what I would have payed at an American dentist and that's with the flights and hotel included.I recommend bringing a little cash for local food, and maybe sending Sani your x-rays before making the trip down. The x-rays I received from them were great, but I feel like it might have been a better idea to let them look over everything before making the big trip. Also, crossing over the border was a bit intimidating at first, but the area feels safe and calm once you get used to it.So once again, amazing experience and I will recommend to friends and family.Thanks Sani! 😁
